Was this Cross not for me
Are you done with me yet?
Many chances I’ve received
Will you stop loving me
When I stumble and fall short
The Cross redeemed others
How have I’ve been renewed
When today I still fail you
My struggles weigh me down
Pains residence hasn’t changed
Tho I cry out to you my God
Heavens silence is deafening
I fear soon I shall turn away
Will my strength leave me
Trouble is so overwhelming
I know that in all things
God works for the good
Of those who love Him
It is you I love O Lord
Where is the good in this?
Weeping may remain for a night
Yet before you I shall bow
Rejoicing comes in the morning
For in you I find my peace
Take this cup from me
Tho your will not mine
In Calgary’s shadow I stand
For was this Cross not for me

I spent more time trying to get drunk then putting my thoughts to paper.Since giving my life to Christ I've gone back to my writing allowing God to decide what I'm to write.As i add my poems you will see all my emotions laid out. Anger, Joy,Fear,happiness, confusion because those are the emotions I've taken before the Lord and ask him what do i do with these.Not unlike most people do
